This property development required a full restoration to the B listed Mount Hamilton House.  The property had been severely damaged by an extensive fire and had been placed on the buildings at risk register.  We acquired the property and carefully selected our consulting engineer and local architect to restore the estate mansion to its former glory.

Key Elements of Restoration

  • Sensitive restoration to listed parts by creating period features.  Wall Panelling, Traditional plastered Coving, Dado & picture rails with ceiling roses.  Retaining the 12 feet high ceiling spaces.

  • Utilising Lime based Render on all listed masonry walls allowing the stone to breathe.  Restoring stone string courses, quoins and window surrounds.
